I was so happy to spot the Pottery Shop in Clinton on our travels north. I was blown away by the pottery, yard art and the women's clothing and accessories inside, which was a nice surprise. May need to plan a trip here again.
I took a walk while Danny rested and then sat here while the sun set with the view of the Norfork Lake. We enjoyed a very delicious meal at the Grill.
DAY 2
We really enjoyed Calico Rock on day 2. It sits on the curve of the White River.
Danny asked around about the fishing so that he can plan a trip back here.
We shopped and took a very informative tour.
The Printing Press Cafe proved to be worth the hype of being a great spot for lunch in the quaint and friendly town of Calico Rock.
We road some fabulous roads including the Push Mountain Road and then on the way back the Sylamore Scenic Byway.
Unassuming from the front and this is what it's like inside as you walk through this warm logged interior with a huge back patio overlooking the White River. We got there just as they opened wit ha very friendly server who suggested the Maple Bacon Moonshine Bloody Marie to Danny. Guess where the moonshine is made???? Hot Springs! haha.. our hometown.
the hat try on at Drascos!
This is the campground on Greers Ferry Lake.
